So much is happening in the world right now. I wanted to take some time to talk about some of the things that we are going to face in the end times.
Revelation 1:1. Revelation is not the revelation of the mark of the beast or the revelation of the false prophet. Revelation IS the revelation of Jesus Christ. Every time the enemy sticks his head up, God will stand up for us. God’s kept us through the dark ages and through depression and wars. He is faithful and will make a way.
Things are changing.
Hebrews 12:26-27. There is a shaking going on right now. Everything that will be shaken, will be shaken. If your hope is in yourself or in some organization, you are in trouble. You need to put all your hope in Jesus Christ.
Leviticus 26:36. There is such a fear in the world right now. Fear like I have never seen in my lifetime. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4. There are going to be some people shaken in their minds. Don’t let your mind be shaken. Get in your prayer closet, lay whatever it is down on your altar, and pray. Believe that God can keep you just like He did Daniel or the three Hebrew boys.
I took a trip to Virginia.
I counted twelve beautiful churches that had shut down. Everything that can be shaken is going to be shaken. If you haven’t been shaken yet, don’t worry, you will be. God never said there wouldn’t be a storm, but He did say He would never leave us. He didn’t say that the devil would just roll over and die, but He did say that if He was for us, who could be against us. He said He would provide for you and make a way. He will prepare a table for you in the midst of your enemies. He didn’t tell you there would be no devil. He just said, “I am God, and beside me, there is no other.” There’s not a nervous breakdown happening in Heaven. God’s not upset. He’s not scared. He is not tired. He’s not weary. God’s got everything under control. He has a plan.
Hebrews 10:25. There is so much sickness, death, and trouble going on. People’s faith is being shaken. But there is one thing that will never be shaken: the healing power of God. If God chooses to let somebody go home, I may cry a lot, but it will not shake my confidence in God. I made up my mind a long time ago that my relationship with God would not be built on what I see or what I hear or what I feel, but it would be built alone on that living Word of God.
Let me tell you what’s not going to pass away.
James 5:14-15. Jesus still saves. He still heals. He still delivers. Let Hell rage. Let the enemy war. God is still God. Don’t let your faith be shaken. This Lord Jesus will not be shaken. One day they won’t call on false gods anymore. Revelation 7:12. Hebrews 13:8. 1 Timothy 1:17. Psalm 5:13. When there are no more nations, there will be the Kingdom of God. Daniel 7:27. Luke 1:33. Daniel 7:18.
When all other books have been proven without value and worthless. The Bible will not be shaken.
People have tried to prove it wrong over and over again, but it won’t be shaken. People have tried to take it out of countries, but it gets smuggled back in. It will not be silent. Don’t put your confidence in man, in government, or in yourself. The Bible will remain. It will not be shaken. So, hold onto your Bible. 1 Peter 1:25. Psalm 119:89. Psalm 119:60.
One day, the names of great men, Hollywood stars, and great sports figures will be a memory. Then the memory will fade and their names will never be mentioned again. But there is one name that is above any other. One name and that name is Jesus. There is only one name that can get you into Heaven and that is the name of Jesus. You can’t buy your way in or study your way in. You have to be born again. You have to become part of the family. Philippians 2:9-11.
We are being shaken, but for some, it’s not such a bad thing. Being shaken drives us back to prayer. It drives us back to fasting. We are in the hand of God. He’s shaking me to get all of Anthony out of me. The same goes for you. He’s shaking us to get everything out of us that’s not like him.
We will be shaken. If we want to remain, we just have to hold onto Jesus, our Solid Rock.
