Family and Marriage

The basis of any relationship, whether with our spouses, our children, our parents, friends, siblings or co workers should be based on love. J.O.Y.–Jesus first, others second and yourself last. 1 Corinthians 13 is referred to as the “LOVE” chapter in the Bible. We encourage you to go and read that chapter in the bible when in need of help in any relationship.

The Gifts

1 Corinthians 12:7 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. A good place to start reading about these gifts is 1 Corinthians 12. Start there and study out the scripture for a deeper understanding of the gifts of the spirit.

The Holy Ghost

Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. Just like salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is a gift that Jesus has for us when we believe in Him.

Salvation

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. If you don’t know Jesus, please consider calling on His name today. You will experience a peace and a friendship with the one that died for you. It will be the best decision you have ever made and you won’t be able to believe how much peace, even in trials, you can experience once you’ve turned your life and heart over to the one who gave it.

Healing

Jesus died for your healing. Emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Call on Him, that suffered for your healing to touch you. Get in touch with us at oasisministries.com or though Oasis Ministries facebook page and ask us to pray for you. We will help pray that you will be healed. We will be glad to pray over and send you a prayer cloth as well. Isaiah 53:55 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Finances

Jesus cares about every area of your life. What you are concerned about, He is concerned about. He has made a plan for us financially. Consider tithing and giving offerings to support the church and further His kingdom. He has a plan for us financially. If we give back to Him part of what already belongs to Him, then He will see that we are provided for. Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Bible Reading

It’s our responsibility to read and study the Bible. Scripture is so relevant to our lives. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Purpose in your heart today to set out to search out and study the scriptures. We’ve included some links below for Bible reading plans and the Bible course that Oasis Ministries. It’s important to read and study the scripture together as a family too!

Prayer

The disciples said this : Luke 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. Aside from reading and studying the scripture, praying is the most important thing we must do as christians. We must communicate with Jesus. He has our answers. Sometimes prayer can be challenging. Here are some links we think will help!

Going to Church

It’s important to go to church. We’d love for you to be part of the Oasis Ministries/Miracle Deliverance Tabernacle Church family, but if not, please look for and get grounded in a church and go to work for the Lord. You’re children must be taken to church and be grounded in the Lord as they grow so they will know how to continue their lives as adults Hebrews 10:25

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
