Agree With the Word

Today is a good opportunity to begin a fresh walk with God.

Genesis 5:24. 1 John 1:7. 3 John 1:4. Amos 3:3. God is not going to come down to our level and agree with us. If we are going to walk with God, then we are going to have to agree with Him. So, how do you agree with God?

John 1:1. Revelation 19:11-13. John 15:7. Psalms 138:1-2. Matthew 24:35. I know this is a lot of Scripture, but it’s perfect for what I’m trying to say here. If we want to walk with God, we have to agree with His Word. We have to honor His Word. In fact, He loves His Word so much that Psalms 138:2 says that He magnifies His Word above all His name.

God is Elohim, the Creator, Mighty, Strong. He designed worlds and the human body. Think of all that He has created that we haven’t even discovered yet, and He exalted His Word, the Bible, above His name.

He is El Shaddai. This speaks of His ultimate power over all. He nurtures us and supplies for us as a loving parent would their child. He is Adonai. He is Jehovah. He is the I AM. Even with every name and title He has been given, He still magnifies His Word above His name.

So, let’s take a look at His Word for a second.

The enemy says that you will never change. But God’s Word tells you that you are a new creation. As long as you agree with the enemy, you will be beaten down in condemnation and you will never walk with God. Stand up today, walk away from the haters and those who beat you down, and determine that you will walk with God. Agree with the Bible! You are a new creation just like it says. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Romans 8:1. Your past is blotted out and washed away. You don’t have to worry about it anymore. Agree with Jesus; you are free!

His Word says that He has a good plan for your life. There is a lot of bad news going around right now, but God has kept us through plagues, wars, and depressions, and He will keep us through this time as well. We can’t hide. We have to let this generation know that we are under the same pressure as they are, and we have a Way Maker that will take us through it and them too if they will accept Him as Savior. Keep on living and keep making plans and keep on living for God. Everything’s going to be alright. Jeremiah 29:11.

God’s Word says you are blessed. Psalms 103:2. Deuteronomy 28:3.

God’s Word says you are free. Your mind says that you are a prisoner of your past, your addiction, and your scars. But God’s Word says you are free! Galatians 4:7, 5:1. Get up and walk out of the prison of your past mistakes; you are free! God will break the chains and open the prison doors, but you have to get up and walk out. Romans 6:6.

1 John 4:4. I thought this Scripture was talking about the fact that we will overcome. But that’s not what it’s saying. It says that we already have overcome them. Whatever your “them” is, whether it’s addiction or hurt, whatever it may be, you have already overcome it through the Holy Ghost living inside of you.

The Bible says that you are healed. Isaiah 53:5. Psalms 103:3. 3 John 1:2. I have seen miracle after miracle where people have been healed. God healed my Shelia and my mom. I have experienced the healing power of God in my own life as well.

I know without a shadow of a doubt that this Bible is right. It says you are a winner, that you are free, that God has a good plan for you, that you are redeemed, and you get a new start!

John 15:7 — “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
