Single's Ministry
Caleb and Trinity Peacock help with the singles ministry here at Miracle
Deliverance Tabernacle.
The heart of the singles ministry is found in Matthew
6:34- “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you.” We believe that God works in seasons. He
spoke to Noah and said in Genesis 8:22- “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and
harvest, cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not
cease.” This was not only speaking of the natural. We teach that every season of
life is important and that God uses different seasons to train His people. This
ministry focuses upon the importance of seeking the Lord during the season of
being single. We believe this season is one that allows men and women of God to
seek Him whole heartedly without any distractions. One thing we strive not to be
is a “dating service.” We encourage the singles not to casually date. We know
that God has a plan for all of His children and encourage them to seek His will
in all decisions. So what do we do? The singles ministry has been designed so
that we can really “sit down” and spend a lot of time teaching, but we also know
that life has many areas of stress and pressure. One area that many single
people struggle with is the issue of loneliness which is many times coupled with
the pressure to have a spouse. Because of this we try to also take time for some
“down time.” We believe the Lord has called us to live balanced lives which
involves having fun. In this we try to also schedule some exciting events. So
